Nominated for the 58th Grammy Awards in 2016, Bhakti Without Borders blends melodies from the East Indian Bhakti tradition with the folk, bluegrass and country elements of traditional American and Irish music. The result is a sound that is both fresh and familiar. All profits from this record will go towards education for girls in Vrindavan, India.

Madi Das sings a duet with a different female vocalist on each track. Featured artists include Chaytanya, Tulsi Devi, Sudevi Dasi, Acyuta Gopi, Gaurangi, Malika Des Fours, Carmella Gitanjali Baynie, Ananda-Amrita, Nalina Kaufman, Gaura Mani and Jahnavi Harrison.
